I REALLY want to start dancing. If im 18, is it too late to start? maybe not a career… but I want to be able to dance really good. Is that possible? Um… like hip-hop and lyrical/jazz??? yeah those. But i dont wana be a cheap dancer. Like a really good one. Will i be able to do that if I start at 18? Im 16 now but cant start financially. But I went to tap for like 4 months and I went to my dance team for like 5 months. I really wanna do this.

Can somebody please explain what in the world is it about?

I’m 16 and live near ottawa, canada. I’ve always wanted to be a dancer and I know I have it in me. I’m graduating a year early just so I can try to be a proffesional dancer. The problem is, my parents don’t support me and since i live in a small town, my dancer teacher sucks and doesnt give me very good choreography. I really want this and i’d like any advice yu can give me. I’m also an actress and I can sing (so people tell me). I’d love to be a back up dancer too; its my dream to show my stuff in a music video because when i was younger everyone teased me and I want to show them that they misjudged me and they missed out on a great person. Please help me!!!????

i’m 14 and i’ve been doing ballet sense i was 5. this is my first year of pointe. i have a natural talent for ballet (so says my ballet teacher and my mom). And i really want to become a ballet teacher and go to a dance college. i really want to coment myself to compition ballet dancing. i know it would be hard work and endless hours of practice, but i’m completely willing to give up my time to it. i was just wondering how i could get started in it. and how to tell my mom of my dreams. also, the only dance places that do comptions are like an hour drive away (i go to a small town dance studio), would that be a problem?

My friend invited me to watch the nutcracker ballet in seattle washington. the company is “pacific northwest ballet” and i know its a pretty big show company..I have no idea wether i dress up as formal (such as a dress) or just casual. This does not show up on the website. Also, it would be really embarrassing if they picked me up and everyone was wearing formal clothing and i was just wearing a jacket and boots..

Ok well. I really really love dancing, it’s lke my life to me. I’ve been dancing since i was 5 and i’m 15 now. Ive always wanted to be a dancer but i’m always thinking it will never work out. I don’t even know how to start so i sometimes think i should just be an accountant. How do i prove to myself that I can be want i want myself to be and also which one is best for my future accountant or commercial dancer?

Hi! I am 13 this year. I wish to take up Ballet and be a part-time professional Ballet teacher in the future. Is it possible? I am going for Ballet lesson(1h a week) meant for Beginner next year in the nearby Community Club. The class is for 7years and above and it is a Children Ballet class coaching for Grade 1. I don’t know if I should choose a Primary or a Pre-primary Ballet class or Grade 1 class. Well, I am currently learning Chinese Dance and Piano and can I catch up with them? How does average student,14 learn? How long to Grade 8? How long for practising Ballet at home? What class do they take? I am not considering to be a professional Ballerina, but I still wish to learn Ballet and be a Ballet teacher. I don’t really have a busy schedule currently in the lower secondary. Can I cope in the future? In Junior collage? I quite cherish my time.(not wasting my time, but I waste some of it thinking of Ballet!)

Allright the reason i need these are i have a cinniomon dress that i’m wearing to a wedding and i’ve tried on many shoes and the most comfy ones are ballet slippers i just can’t find them in the right color so were are going to buy dyeable oneand get cinnamon dye.
