Everytime I hear this, I can’t help but laugh, even though my friend says it gives him the creeps.

I’ve always wondered what possessed The Stranglers to do it. Its funny, but really odd! One of my friends said the high pitched giggling on it is them pretending to bebe “giggling rats?” Eh?

I know that they were into their drugs, but has anyone ever read anything on what the hell is going on when they wrote it?
