His Diabelli Variations is also mostly in 3/4 time (as the theme he wrote the variations on is often called a waltz), but you may have a hard time dancing to it. If you're looking for waltzes for a play, you might want to consider purchasing a different CD! Beethoven did not really compose anything particularly waltz-like at all, all his other works are lot more "massive" and "symphonic" rather than waltz-like. It appeared on the scene about 30 years later, and at first ( this will sound familiar!) was considered a really raunchy way of dancing. I mean, you were ..touching.. ieeuw. So, Beethoven didn't write any waltz music. If you find anything in 3/4 time that doesn't go too far off into the rhythmical experiment department ( and that's partly what he's famous for), you could use it for waltzing to, but it won't be the same smooth glide that you'll get as from Johann Strauss, Jr. the waltz did not exist as a dance at Betthoven’s time.
